Discussion: Initially arbitrarily distinguished from 1146 and 1139 in order to get spatial control over sampling above bench, but different upon excavation - more rubbly with different inclusions (burnt clay lumps, large plaster chunks): same fill as 1139/1146 but wall/roof collapse here more evident (rubble is uneven, lying at different levels)

Consistency: friable with strong lumps 

Colour: 10YR 5/4 

Texture: silty clay loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: burnt clay 5%; plaster 10%, <15cm; charcoal <2%
