Discussion: This Neolithic neonate was part of a series of neonates found in a north-south line in Space 265. F. 2037 consists of sk. 11957, 119971, 11972 and 11979. The burials were not in a distinct burial cut, except for 11979 (perhaps). This burial was partially disturbed with the left femur, tibula and foot missing entirely and the lt. Tibia displaced towards the western wall. Both hands and a number of ribs and vertebrae were also missing. It is uncertain whether these 4 neonates died at the same time but it is quite possible that they were.
