Discussion: This is a make-up layer placed below anotyher one - bigger (unit 12234). These levelling layers were situated below walls 11578 (in S part) and wall in N part (excavated in season 2004 in order to put up a tent), which was at least partly same as 11578 (and possibly partly same as 10953).

The lowest in the centre of the unit was 1017.15, while in S and N parts 1017.20 - therefore the heights ranged from 0.12 m (centre) to 0.07 (N and S parts). 

 

Recognition: colour, consistency 

Definition: a make-up layer (below another - 12234) of wall 11578 and 10953 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: hot, dry 

Consistency: friable to firm 

Colour: light grey with whitish, dark and mid brown and pinkish inclusion 

Texture: sandy clay with silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: pottery, bones, obsidian, pinkish plaster 

Post-depositional Features: animal bourrowing 

Basal Boundary: distinct, irregular
