Discussion: It is one of a sequence of make-up layers below N part of wall 10982 and its whole surface make-up layer 12234 and a small layer 12257.
Over N part of unit 12267, there were also (higher) walls 11578 as well as 11534- in N part (excavated season 2004 in order to put up a tent), which was at least partly same as 11576 (and possibly partly same as 10953).

Execution: trowel 

Condition: hot, dry 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: dark brown with mid gray and oranguish inclusions 

Texture: sandy clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: bones, pottery, obsidian 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrowing 

Basal Boundary: distinct
