Discussion: This is a layer in the middle of an extension- below unit 12242. It could have been one of make-up layers below wall 10985 (between a wall 10985 and layer 12264, there were two layers 12225 (first level) & 12242 (second level).
It is possible that unit 12264 is 'same as' unit 12205, being an infill.

Condition: hot, dry 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: light to mid brown 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive
