Discussion: This is a fragment of a floor in S part of Building 61. This appear to be the oldest floor of Building 61 in phase II, that is before on was reconstructed, which is marked by placing a floor on a white pebbled make up layer along with 2 partition walls. This is a top floor of a sequence of floors that lay one on top of the other (u. 12289,12296,12299) along S edge of Building 61.
From the S it was truncated by unspecified constructional event and then filled up by a layer composed of fragments of bricks, mortar and plaster (u. 12278). This unit was also truncated by a later floor (12294) placed on a white pebbled make up layer(12295).
The surface of this floor is slightly sloping E due to yet unspecified postdepositional processes.
