Discussion: When taking out the room fill from the center of theroom, we uncovered an edge of this oven on the east side of the room. There was still a bit of fill on top of it, but we uncovered its side and found its boundaries before removing said fill. Only after we had finished clearing the room, finding the floor and uncovering other features, did we come back and take the fill off the top of the oven. We thought it might contain organic materials or other things of interest from the oven, so we gave it its own number.
