Discussion: Midden layer identified and planned by Doru within confines of and overlying Building 66. Didnt extend further east. Very ashy and fine and containing a lot of animal bone.

Definition: Clear - Doru was uncertain about eastern edge but not continuous wih midden to east

Consistency: Friable and loose - ashy 

Colour: Mid grey 

Texture: Clayey sandy silt 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Grey small bone frags - occasional pot occasional obsidian occasional worked stone 

Post-depositional Features: Truncated by Byzantine foundation to the west 

Basal Boundary: Abrupt distinct smooth - flat or slightly inclined N to S
