Unit 13022

Category: Layer    dug in 2006

Area: TP

Interpretive Categories: bricky layer

Data Category Information: Location: between walls; Deposition: heterogeneous

Dimensions: 3.40 x 0.60 x 0.32 m

Discussion: This is an infill layer placed between a sequence of deposits underneath Building 61 from the north and two walls, probably from Phase II from the south. Since these walls are placed on similar deposit as those from unit 13022, this is a proof that its northern edge was defined arbitrarly.
Its infill was heterogenous and composed of constructional elements (mudbricks, mortar, fragments of painted plaster). It was located underneath simlar layer recorded as unit 12278. The latter contained smaller numbers of constructional elements as compared with unit 13022. Both the highest and the lowest were not equal in the entire surface. Measurements are following:
E corner: highest - 1061.91, lowest - 1016.70
central part - highest - 1016.93, lowest - 1016.61
W corner: highest - 1016.94, lowest - 1016.78
