Discussion: midden layer slumping to the NE of space 279. Possible layers of lime burning at base where light silt layer above charcoal burning layer. This also occurred at the base of (12980) to the east side over the area of more substantial slumping.
Recognition: after excavtion of (12980) decided to give midden a new number, (13103) although probably part if the same midden deposit as 12988-see sketch

Colour: dark grey to black with mid dark green layers
Texture: slightly clayey silt

Inclusions: moderate bone, pot, obsidian, occasional worked bone

Basal Boundary: diffuse, but in patches this unit of midden came down onto a light grey clayey silt above a charcoal lense sloping W-E
