Discussion: Midden layer in pit cuts. Slightly slumped infill on the Northern and North-West edges, but as this was mixed in with the midden, it was excavated as one.
Recognition: below midden layer (13103) and within cut
Definition: clear midden layers

Condition: hot
Consistency: friable
Colour: mid brownish grey
Texture: v. slightly clayey silt
Bedding: compound layer, but middle layers are very similar in colour
Inclusions: frequent bone, moderate pot, obsidian, charcoal flecks, stone
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows
Basal Boundary: clear, concise in northern part where excavated down to pit cut. In southern part the pit could not be bottomed due to health and safety, but appeared to be coming down onto another fill.
