Discussion: Pot sherd, bone tools, obsidian and flint tolls were found in this unit. They were very close each other and especially bone tools were together as a group, attached to east wall of Space 70.
We reached the same level with the top of pit, but we haven't reach the floor of the pit yet. 

 

Execution: Pick and trowel 

Condition: 19/8/96-hot and dry.20/8/96-after rain 

Consistency: Moderately firm 

Colour: 2.5YR 5/3 Light olive brown 

Texture: Sandy silt loam 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: White plaster remains 20%; mud brick pieces; bones (tolos and pieces); obsidians and flint; burnt wood 

Post-depositional Features: Roots, insect holes 

Basal Boundary: Gradual, distinct

Unit description: X2 + X13 are 2 rather similar bone points on unfused distal metapodials found together. X14 was also found with them, but is a split proximal metacarpal point. X14 point removed for C14 to UK, 15/8/01 LM. Drawn and photoed before taken.
