Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: heterogeneous

Discussion: After removal of floors, 1358, we expose series of packing deposits. These are removed from N part of 1 x 1 square. They abut the burnt surface. No, as we dig now clear that these deposits are lying in a cut though the floor-series of burnt brown floors, very nice, visible in section of cut. Can this be a burial? Entire pit fits within 1 x 1 square. Flecks of red -painted plaster in the fill. Once bones are showing in the lower part of pit, we change unit no. I expose the bones.
