Discussion: Oval shaped pit with sharply soping side to a flat base, truncated to the S by fill of basin F1652 and also truncated to the N. Either whatever the pit contained was removed and the cut backfilled OR may have been used as a route into an earlier pit/grave? Visible beneath the platform, in section and in truncated area to the E of the platform edge.
