Discussion: Cut of post retrieval pit. Very regular in plan with very little damage to the pedestal. The post was either easily or very carefully removed. The base and sides of the cut are heavily disturbed by animal burrowing and the profile of the cut is therefore a little uncertain in some areas 

Recognition: clearly visible in plan behind plastered pedestal and between plaster of the engaged pillar
