Discussion: This grave has been disturbed to some extent and truncated by animal and human activity respectively (Byzantine pit cut disturbance - 13730 with fill 13731. 

Recognition: Much harder and more compact than disturbance above 

Definition: Grave fill within cut 

Execution: Trowel, hand pick 

Condition: Fairly dry and hot and sunny 

Consistency: Hard and compact and 'blocky' 

Colour: Mid greysih brown 

Texture: silty loamy clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: frequent inclusions of mudbrick (disturbed E Chalc architecture), also occasional subangular limestones, small to medium (less than 20cm). Disturbed human bone, particularly skull, finger and hand and foot/toe bones. Occasional Byzantine and Chalcolithic potteyr, fragments of tile 

Post-depositional Features: Animal and anthropomorhic disturbance, roots 

Basal Boundary: Clear on to undisturbed Chalcolithic deposits
