Discussion: 14235 is an arbitrary layer. Due to the baulk left in 2006, 14235 was left unexcavated. It is part of the same grave fill of feature 2403.

The fill of arbitrary layer 14235 peeled easily off 13725 (mud brick). The fill was both loose and compacted in parts and appears to have been disturbed by both burrowing fauna and rootlets. Human foot bones were found, believed to be those missing from the burial of feature 2403 excavated 2006 (unit of skeleton 13746). The final fill of the grave was removed on 08/07/2007 after the mudbricks 13725 were taken out and cut 15302 exposed. No finds were found in this fill.

Condition: Under shelter, windy and very dusty. 

Consistency: Heterogenous: equally mixed parts of loose and compacted/hard fill.

Texture: Silty loam, some sand 

Bedding: Disturbed 

Inclusions: Roots, some few pottery sherds, few bones, few obsidian pieces, some human bone. 

Post-depositional Features: Possible animal disturbance near bottom, roots.
