Unit 14302
Category: Layer dug in 2006
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: make up layer
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: building; Material: pise-like; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: Layer is described as a grey loam. It covered most of the extant area of Space 257. It probably acted as one of the first make up layers for the building as it lies under the platforms at the east of the building. It has been heavily truncated by animal activity. Note: dimensions given are based on the layer not being truncation by animal activity. It is a make up layer and would have covered the floor plan of the building. Note: dimensions given are based on no animal truncation.
