Discussion: Removal of damaged plaster surfaces on the West facing Eastern wall of space 108 to reveal the entire surface of Wall 96/51. This incorporated many layers of plaster. The relationship of these to the floor surfaces beneath was hard to discern. 

 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: cool, dry bright 

Consistency: very firm 

Colour: 2.5Y 6/3 (wet), 2.5Y 8/2 (dry) 

Texture: silty clay loam 

Bedding: densely layered 

Inclusions: no obvious inclusions 

Post-depositional Features: No obvious features 

Basal Boundary: Clear anthropogenic - sharp/ smooth
