Discussion: Room fill in Space 341. It is difficult to see the walls as almost all are disturbed by animal burrows. The chunks of red painted plaster are located under the spots of darker soil, surrounded by a plaster line (see U.15139). First we thought, that the darker, rectangular appearing spots reflect a second phase of the wall, but they seem to be just pieces of mudbrick in roomfill. They are also very thin.
The mudbrick in the SE corner is in the rear part disturbed by an animal burrow, so there is no way to decide whether it is connected to the wall or not. Personally, I believe it just belongs to the room fill-
Consistency: compact with soft lenses of clay
Colour: greyish brown, dark grey, light.yellow
Texture: silty clay
Bedding: heterogeneous fill with lenses of clay
Inclusions: few chalk, lots of clay, pottery bone, small parts of painted plaster
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows, few and tine roots
Basal Boundary: flat, arbitrary
