Discussion: This late burial was found in an East-West position, with head in the west and left forearm pronated towards the pelvis. Some mudbrick was found above the level of the burial, probably the top of the cut of this burial. The skeleton has been disturbed or eroded partially, it is unclear as to the boundaries of this disturbance as the skeleton sits directly on top of an Early Chalcolithic wall (F.5058). The entire lower limbs are missing along with the right forearm, hand, many ribs, pelvis and sacrum, and left hand. Red ochre deposits were found at the location of the right pelvis, and yellow ochre (?) deposits were found at approximately ear level on both sides of the head. The cervial vertebrae C1 and C2 were found to the north of the skull, cervical vertebrae are disturbed through that region - possibly animal disturbance?
