Discussion: We began excavating to find the plaster line, bisected by the pit. Mudbrick wall found on N,S, & E sides, slopes inward on East side (upper level). 20 cm down we found a large rock, the size of half the unit. -RBW 08/07/07
Expanded pit w/shovel and mattock to roughly twice the original area and found plaster on both W&E side of pit extending all the way to the bottom. Very disturbed by rodent burrows. Extends into another pit to the west. -RBW 09/07/07
Another smaller pit extends to the south to un it 15300, very disturbed by burrows as well. Possibly 3 pits. -KJK 10/07/07
