Unit 15820
Category: Layer dug in 2007
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: midden
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: This is an ashy midden in the W part of the excavated area. Its consistency was loose and it contained a huge amount of material including animal bones and big fr. of pottery. This is a typically layered midden made of numerous parallel layers made of burnt soli, charcoal and ash.
I its eastern part, against wall 15825 the midden was mixed up with rubble of bricks. The exploration was finished arbitrarly as the unit apparently stretches to the South and SW and the excavation season 2007 is coming to the end.
