17/9/96: The west side of the cut was revealed today. The cut cuts though an earlier wall to the west and due to the composition of the wall the cut is a little uneven. Wall [1516] seems to cut into this fill and is therefore a later wall than [63]. Cut [1626] becomes closer to the wall towards the east.
