Discussion: Part of midden deposit, under lying the Western and Northern part of 1627, running beyond space 107 to the West, beneath the step in the gap leading to space 108. This may include several episodes of deposition and in places was hard to distinguish from the layer beneath. Sloped from East to West and North to South, thickening towards the Western edge.

Colour: 2.5y 3/2 very dak gryish brown 

Texture: ashy charcoal loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: < 6% charcoal < 30mm, hackberry, <3% plaster,<2%coprolite,(thin lenses < 80mm) 

Post-depositional Features: salt encruststion roots 

Basal Boundary: clear, various, wavy, anthropogenic boundaries
