Discussion: shape uncertain, break of slope uncertain, sides straight or concave c 60 degrees ,base probably flat.
Cut of pit? in south east corner of space 106. When removing deposits 1527 and 1523 it became clear there was a difference between the nature of the material in the east and west halves of the south part of 106, but the nature of the relationship was hard to assess. Later a cut was just about visible in the south section and layers 1630, 1634 and 1639 were taken out presumably within this . The cut appears to have taken a slice out of the face of the south wall o space 106. 1630 contained refuse and wall collapse.
