Discussion: Same as 14260 (last year) = original fill of grave 2416; 16828 in this fill is very similar - the grave floor was reached on this level but not around the edges. 

Recognition: colour, inclusions (chalcolithic pottery) 

Definition: very diffuse, especially with grave fill 16806 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: warm, windy 

Consistency: loose, crumbly with some compact areas, dry 

Colour: greyish brown 

Texture: sandy silt 

Bedding:  

Inclusions: moderate pottery, obsidian and lots of bone 

Post-depositional Features: animal and root disturbance 

Basal Boundary: grave cut
