Unit 16955
Category: Cut dug in 2011
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: burial Cut
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: NS: 1.58 m; EW: 2.52 m; Depth: .764 m
Discussion: This cut was the bottom of f. 3343 burial, that had red-orange mudbrick construction 16954. The cut was into Chalcolithic walls f. 3351 (the southern wall of sp. 454), and f. 3354 (the wall abutting f. 3351 wall, that is the northern wall of a new space). The majority of this burial cut was disturbed by a later event (probably grave robbing) that I highly suspect is related to the bell shaped late pit just north of this cut.
