Unit 17280
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: Roomfill
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: NS: 280 cm; EW: 260 cm; Depth: 30 cm
Discussion: The layer is another layer of roomfill, more compact and darker than the others. It is still very heterogenous with a lot of plaster lumps, mudbricks, red painted plaster, and finds.
We noticed at the northeastern and northwestern corners a compact heap of of construction materials. They are very dense, homogenous and compact, but don't possess a real shape. It seems to be a similar material as that used for the mudbrick, with the same dark gray color, the same clayey texture, and the same inclusions of little bits of charcoal.
