Discussion: This plaster layer forms the mortar between the mud bricks that make up the addition to the bench f3456, and features a basin-like contour that makes the base for the mud brick pillar. One brick (18689) of the pillar was excavated. This mortar lay immediately atop some more plaster on its eastern half (18693), which was recognizable as different by the evidence of red paint, matching that which was revealed on the north face of the bench.
