Discussion: The westernmost edge of this brick became visible after initial removal of the infill in this space, and it became increasingly revealed to the east as the mudbrick (18685) overlying it and then the plaster mortar (18688) overlying it were removed. 

Recognition: western edge extenuated underneath (18685)- another mudbrick of a different composition, eastern edge underlay (18688) plastermortar

Condition: warm 

Consistency: friable to firm 

Colour: yellowish brown 

Texture: clay loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: plaster specks 

Post-depositional Features: plaster mortar & molding around
