Description: (2014) This unit is a soft white, light grey layer of plaster on the pre-excavated bench.

Discussion: Upper bench plaster unexcavted 2010.
Plastering event on bench F. 3439, not continious anywhere else as of now.
Not excavated in 2013.
(2014) Unit 18978 is a bench. The new unit was to take the bench down to the next plaster layer, to reach a makeup or packing layer underneath. The bench became free when unit 20067 (plaster layer on the main platform) was excavated and was found to be separate to the bench. The platform behind the bench (F.3441), however, is thought to be the same as the bench. However there is nothing connecting these two plaster layers. It was found that the bech is a compact plaster fill, other than a small layer of packing/dirty floor that is situated at the bottom of the bench. Therefore it has been decided to excavate from the platform behind (F.3441) and see if there is any lipping of this plaster onto the bench.
