Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: hearth; Material: baked
Discussion: Removed a red crumbley clay makeup layer from around the edges of the hearth in an attempt to come down onto a single white plaster layer. However, once the layer was removed, it can be seen that the white layer, which appears to have at one time been the hearth's floor, had been scrubberd off and patched over for repairs and later use.
