Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 3,60 x 2,80 x 0,44 / 0,28 m
Discussion: This was a pretty homogeneous whitish infill layer placed in the center of Building 5 (as recorded by Mellaart, not to be confused by B5 in the North area). It was characterized by different thickness: it was thicker in the N part (0,44 cm) and it as becoming more shallow towards the South. It was covering three different features. They are (as seen from the North): a midden (u20129), a wall (f 3927) and some kind of infill layer (u20155).
This infill was especially clearly visible from the section (W part). After the examination by specialists, it turned out, that it contained a lot of late pottery. It might be fill redeposited during the 1960s excavations.
X1 and x2 - worked bone and bead, delated from the x finds list because found during dry sieving. CM
