Discussion: This cut is a part of the feature 3941, a late period (possibly hellenistic) posthole. The cut is very circular and not very deep. It is next to the bricky layer 202 and the hellenistic pit feature u3920. It is one of 5 other postholes at this level in trench 2 and may be associated with them and possibly the 5 hellenistic pits dug also at this level.
