Interpretive Categories: skeleton

Data Category Information: none

Dimensions: 0,67 m NW-SE, 0,30 NE-SW, 0,22 m deep.

Discussion: The limbs are very tightly flexed and so it is possible that this individual was bound and/or partially defleshed upon burial. The angle could have been caused by the later burials compressing the grave too, but it is an interesting fact combined with the colour.
Still complete and perfectly articulated, though, which points binding + compression.
Sub-adult/adolescent. The limbs and the skull had a brown and black nuance, perhaps from some chemical reaction. Buried much lower (~0,10 m) than the other individuals in the Space 40 grave cluster and the only grave in Space 40 with this strange colour.

X and Y of Targets: Target A - X: 1056.03; Target A - Y: 1193.37; Target B - X: 1056.12; Target B - Y: 1192.95; Target C - X: 1056.24; Target C - Y: 1192.22; Target D - X: 1055.5; Target D - Y: 1192.37

Body: Oriented NW-SE with head in NW. Flexed. Lying on its left side.

Head: Facing east/down.

Right Arm: Tightly flexed, hand towards chin.

Left Arm: Tightly flexed, hand towards chin.

Right Leg: Tightly flexed, hand towards chin.

Left Leg: Tightly flexed, knee towards chest. Left leg a little offset toward N.

Other comments: Well preserved, seems complete. Slighly disturbed by F3667 in the eastern part. Overlayered by F3666 in the west edge, and F3661 in the South, but not disturbed by those. Limbs are too tightly flexed to be natural. Could be due to later disturbance or the individual being partially defleshed before burial.
