Unit 20486
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Arbitrary infill layer
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: 0,5m NS x 3m EW x 0,3 thick
Discussion: Arbitrary layer in the infill between the walls F3626 and F3646; was excavated in order to determine the relation between the walls in the northern part of the excavation area. The layer was different compared to the previous layers of the infill in this area. It had different colours, brown-yellowish, compared to the greyish above and was somewhat darker in the eastern part. Almost no artefacts or organic inclusions and it was very homogenous. During the excavation we found the outside southern part of oven F.3621, in building 77, truncating the layer and the wall F.3626.
This unit was excavated as an arbitrary spit layer (between Z1012.10-1011.80).
