Discussion: 2013: Mortar used to join bricks within the wall F.3626 varied in its thickness depending on desire of builders who tried to keep horizontal line of the courses. Additional distinctiveness was recorded in the wide range of colour of the mortar and supplementary usage of clay building material within the paste. In the eastern part of the wall within mortar there was a single antler (X1) found. It appeared that described material (20679) played a significant role at the initial stage of the wall construction, due to it was used as a paste to fix together broken bricks dumped into a foundation cut.

2014 EXCAVATION SEASON
- The execution of the northern wall of B.108 (F.3626) allowed to analyze the western part of the mentioned feature (due to its partial excavation, carried out in 2013). In the course of the research activities in 2014 there were 11 courses of mortar uncovered within the wall that preserved to 1.20m height. The mud-brick structure showed the evidence of the re-used bricks exploitation during construction phase. The latter influenced significantly on the width and thickness of the mortar that joint the bricks (U.20678) within the Feature. The thickness varied between 3cm to 23cm. Undertaken research brought supplementary amount of the deposit (496 liters), that has been added to the previous achieved in 2013.
