Unit 21315
Category: Cut dug in 2014
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: cut of posthole F.7573
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Description: posthole
Discussion: Cut 21315 of posthole cuts through floor infill u.30539. The relation with the floor surface was lost due to heavy erosion of this part of sp. 94. Thus u.21315 was originally deeper. The shape u.21315 is very particular. It is sub -rectangular, a little bit like the plank - shaped post -hole F.2173 right next toF. 7573. Moreover, they both have the same length which could suggest of the same material.
But the shape of u.21315 is also triangular, which is a difference with F.2173. Its also not oblique as F.2173.
Shape: subrectangular
Sides: vertical
Base Break: sharp
Base: concave
Orientation: W-E
