Description: This is a series of burnt floors in the central, eastern part of Building 52, in space 94; South of the burial platforms in the very NE of this building

Discussion: U21390 was a series of very thin floor surfaces with very thin packing. The surfaces of these floors were extremely badly preserved and survived only in patches, especially in the West where the floors had come in direct contact with persistent and prolonged fire. In the East U21390 was better preserved and the furthest away towards the East, these floors were white (i.e. not burnt) made of white plaster. U21390 was in very bad condition and part of it was swept away during the general cleaning of Building 52, prior to the excavations start in this Building during the 2017-exc.season.The upper part of U21390, in the East was black and broken almost without any layers; about 2-3 cm below, it was possible to see thin floor surfaces of grey and orange colour, showing that the fire took place on the floors above and only bakes these layers of floors immediately below, but did not burn them. U21390 burning seems to be associated with the burning activities that took place on the floors in the depression right in the West of U21390, and on Platform F7638.; it is possible that U21390 was contemporaneous with U31416/U23436; with U31418 and with U22110, but only indications and no direct evidence was seen during the 2017-exc.season.
