Description: Unit is a friable mixed fill in burial cut on NW edge of platform F.3442. 

Discussion: Unit is a loose sandy clay burial fill in cut U. 21705. The fill apears darker gray in color from the surrounding platform layers and was therefore easily identifiable. The fill was sterile apart from a shell and a piece of fauna (not in direct association with the skeleton). The fill as well as the associated cut was truncated by Mellaart in the NW corner so it is partially eroded away. The fill is sitting on top of skeleton U. 21708, a neonate.

Colour: Grayish brown 

Texture: sandy clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: plaster, charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: truncation, erosion
