Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: mix (dark grey&white)

Discussion: This was a series of floors remaining next to the northern inner face of wall F.3096. The multiple floors consisted of plaster and makeup - in some cases the makeup resembled a packing against the wall; as if the surface had been evened out. The floors stopped quite clearly against the plaster of the wall F.3096. Very close to the wall a charred tuber or something similar was found (S3- marked on the sketch). 

Consistency: friable and compact-variable 

Colour: greyish brown, orange, light grey 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: layered/ compound 

Inclusions: charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: salts 

Basal Boundary: clear, almost flat (sloping slightly towards wall F.3096)
