Discussion: Burnt material (probably redeposited) in especially the W end, but also some in the E end.
Floor packing/ makeup of floor, next to N. face of southern wall F.3096 in B.77, underneath floors (multiple floor remains U.22007), consists of compound material including burnt pieces of clay, unburnt clay and packing material. A few finds - fragments of shell, bone and obsidian were found in the unburnt material. 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: orange/grey/brown 

Texture: silt; silty clay 

Bedding: compound 

Inclusions: charcoal- burnt pieces of clay (floor bits?), chalk 

Post-depositional Features: salts 

Basal Boundary: sharp, flat
