Discussion: This a juvenile burial probably dating to the Roman period which is associated with burial 1 (f.150) and burial 2 (F.151). The burial cuts throught the Neolithic levels for approx. 35-40 cm. The skeleton appears to have been in a coffin because several iron nails were found in the fill. Several grave goods are associated with this burial including 2 bone tools, a glass vial and a copper bead necklace ( see U.2226). The skeleton is in fairly good shape with most of its bones intact.
