Description: coarsely bedded midden layers with burnt and dump deposits

Discussion: Midden deposits with coarses of dump and ashy layer. This unit was recognized by texture and colour and also lenses in section. The origin of this unit was midden and which is standed on building infill. This midden was truncated by Mellaart at the northern and western part and.And also it was eroded at the northern part. Possibly this layers abutted by the midden layers which is located western part of sp.538. We couldn't define any elaborate changes with midden layers which had been excavated by archaeologist last year. The thin layer has more charcoal and burnt botanical ramains. And the thick layer which is below of thin layer has more dump clay and mudbrick material. Some flecks of lime stone and burnt botanical remains appear to be evenly spread throughtout the deposits. The unit is located more southern part of sp.583. This deposit was deliberately accumulated possiby 2-3 episodes. They are different with compound layers of dump layers and ashy lenses. The layers lied on East to West.
The priorty results represent, this midden layer contains more oak pieces which appear to be less materials for early levels of middens. And also in terms of faunal results, this unit contains less bones which are very young pig and sheep bone fragments.

This unit was excavated by trowel.
