Discussion: Midden deposit with dump material and ashy layers. This unit was recognized by texture and colour. The origin of this unit was a midden which consist of coarsely bedded dump and burnt layers. It was formed by building dump material and burnt ashy deposit. This unit has also similar texture than previous unit U.22343 as a midden layer. It has more charcoal, lime stone fragment and dump mudbrick fragment. Animal bones, stones and clay ball fragments appear to be evenly spread throughout the deposit. Obsidians and shells appear to be more concentrated towards western side of deposit. Especially special artefacts which are bone tools, arrow head and figürine fragment appear to be spread throughtout the deposit. According to the finds, this unit has more artefacts than previous unit which is U.22343. There is a change in the deposit composition across to east to west deposit. The burnt botanical remains increase east to west. And dump building material spread out evenly throughtout the deposit. The unit located in southern side of sp.583 and extend to east to west. The deposit was deliberately accumulated 2 episodes. This unit truncated by Mellart at the northern and western part.
In terms of priority results, this unit contains oak fragment as a equal amount of U.22343. This results also represents a large midden which are contains mainly sheep sized and more burning bone fragments than other surrounding units.
