Discussion: This unit is a layer of white plaster applied to bench F. 7966. It is only preserved on the N and S faces of the bench (it had eroded off of the top). It was applied prior to a subsequent plastering event which was painted red, and after a previous plastering layer which was also painted red. It was removed by leaf trowel. 

Consistency: compact, laminated, somewhat crumbly 

Colour: white 

Texture: plaster 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: burning, erosion, plastering over 

Basal Boundary: clear, came down on another layer of painted plaster on the bench
