Unit 22768
Category: Cut dug in 2015
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: Part of terracing cut 30229,Pit cut
Data Category Information: Description: pit
Discussion: This post-Chalcolithic disturbance was recognised because it contained large lime stones and cut into Neolithic features in the SW corner of sp 520.
Before excavation, this unit looked like the cut of a circular pit. However, during infill removal it seemed more likely that 22768 is part of the large terracing cut u30229, and u22769 is rubble (Hellenistic) deposited in the north. 22768 is distorted by animal burrowing.

Sides: Gradual
