Discussion: The unit was defined within an interior of building B.142. It was excavated within a framework of a research aiming to examine outlines of as well as relationships between buildings of the upper levels exposed during the 1960's excavation seasons. It consisted of top-soil, post-excavation backfill, spoil from TP Area and the upper, heavily eroded and distrubed parts of architectural features recorded on the Mellaart's plans of Level II. The excavation of the unit precluded sampling and dry sieving as the finds had unsecure context. However, few nicely worked objects were collected and recorded as they were representative of late Neolithic techniques and strategies.
