Unit 22813
Category: Layer dug in 2015
Area: GDN
Interpretive Categories: room fill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: Room-fill of western annex Sp.555 of building B.81. The more or less central part of this layer was partly excavated in 1960's. However, the floors, platforms and bins within Sp.555 were not reached by James Mellaart. The room-fill consisted of very mixed material including various architectural debris and an interesting assemblage of finds (mostly worked stones, e.g. pallettes and polishers). These artifacts were mainly concentrated next to a raw of four bins F.8081 situated alongside northern wall F.8071 of the annex (see unit sketch).
